HERO^TM | T XTREME | SHARK | SHARK ADVANCED

Designed for deep hole drilling applications, the Vulcan series features the patented bridge technology proven over several years in the field. Offered in 16 mm and 26 mm crown heights, it can be applied on Fordia’s well-known matrices, such as HERO™ and T Xtreme, making it extremely flexible in meeting the varied needs of different drill sites.

In addition to their impressive height, which extends their lifespan, the Vulcan series also has all the advantages of Fordia’s diamond drilling bits including the fact that they are manufactured with our highest quality standards.

In order to help you easily recognize the products that are available in Vulcan, a specific icon has been developed. Designed to represent the Vulcan series, this icon will allow you to see at a glance if a Vulcan crown height is applicable, whether in 16mm or 26 mm. Look for the symbol below in all of our literature.

HERO^TM
The HERO^TM series is well known for its outstanding penetration/lifespan ratio. Each core bit comprising the series goes through a rigorous selection process and addresses specific performance requirements.   Available with a 13 mm standard diamond impregnation height, HERO^TM core bits are manufactured one by one with great care, using a new unitary furnacing process which regularizes the consistency of the tools. HERO^TM bits are available in all standard configurations and can also be ordered in Vulcan, with a 16 mm diamond impregnation height.

Offers the best penetration/lifespan ration in medium hardness ground

SHARK ADVANCED
The new Shark Advanced core bits take the original and trusted Shark series one step further. The greater diamond impregnation of 12mm offers enhanced performance and the specific composition is well adapted to demanding drilling conditions and today's powerful drills.

GEO HAWK
Available in four different matrices to fit any type of ground, the GEO HAWK series is specifically designed for geotechnical applications. Offering performance and reliability at a great cost, these core bits are available in most standard sizes, metric or imperial.

Brown Geo Hawk
Very hard bit that is perfect for grounds that comprise mostly soft and very abrasive types of rock, such as calcite, limestone, sandstone or shale.

Red Geo Hawk
Medium hard and abrasive grounds, such as serpentine, dolomite, granite or schist, require this bit for efficient drilling.

Orange Geo Hawk
Perfect for hard grounds, this medium hardness core bit drills through granite, gabbro, diorite or hematite rock compositions.

Yellow Geo Hawk
Meant to drill through very hard grounds, this soft bit is ideal for rock formations that comprise high concentrations of gneiss, quartz, pegmatite, andesite or chert.

Thin Wall Diamond Core Bits
We offer a wide variety of thin wall diamond core bits that can do most wet cut drilling or dry cut drilling jobs. Our thin wall bits are generally 15 inches long, and can be used for drilling reinforced concrete, general concrete, asphalt, or sandstone.
